Chinook Salmon Release at People’s Park

In collaboration with Spokane Tribal Fisheries, we had the privilege of capturing the multi-tribal Chinook salmon release into the Spokane River at People’s Park in August 2022. Documenting this significant cultural and environmental moment, from the opening introductions to the release of the salmon, was a meaningful experience for our team. We are grateful to be part of an effort that respects historic and ongoing tribal stewardship of the land and waters, to remember that salmon once thrived in our rivers – it is time we make way for the salmon to come home once more.
