We are enthusiastically seeking our newest creative team member to support our nonfiction production and post-production work.

In addition to videography and editing experience, a strong sense of story, a humble commitment to honesty & equity, and a love of narrative-driven video are all must-haves. We craft pieces that are weighty, as well as plenty that are lighthearted and fun. Some are informational and others emotionally challenging. We exercise adaptability and authenticity on every project.

POSITION DETAILS

Nonfiction Video Storyteller with a big heart.

We are seeking an intuitive video creator with a passion for lifting up the voices of others, proficient with camera operation and their support equipment (monitors, stabilizers, microphones, etc), comfortable in the realms of lighting techniques and field sound optimization, and a whiz at assembling compelling narratives.

This opportunity is full time (32-35hrs per week). Hourly wage is $22-24 DOE. This opportunity is local to Spokane, WA.

Position Qualifications

  • 2+ years videography and narrative editing experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated long-form and short-form editing skills, with confidence editing unscripted material
  • Demonstrated eye for composition and dynamic documentary shooting
  • Experience with DSLRs and cinema cameras
  • Experience in optimizing available and studio lighting
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and time-management skills
  • Excellent collaboration & support skills – a positive and encouraging teammate
  • Adaptable to shifting between simultaneous projects
  • Passion for sustainable practices in alignment with our social purpose & values
